"MPS"( DSM= Deep Sensoperceptive Manipulation) is a medical methodology developed in ARGENTINA by Dr. Eduardo Daniel Marchevsky , graduated Doctor from the University of Buenos Aires. By 1980, this methodology is used in deterioration postures, spinal column and muscle-skeletal pain. Then the methodology is applied to scoliosis, and phoniatric and respiratory deteriorations with Dr. María del Carmen Graciá"s assistance.

‘MPS’ DSM ( Deep sensoperceptive Manipulation) is a method that treats the organic body symptoms by a specific non-invasive, non-painful hand pressure (without equipment) that deeply works on muscle fibers in order to stretch muscles and decompress articulations. Therefore, we treat chronic muscle contractures, intervertral disk deteriorations, posture alterations, arthrosis, etc. This method avoids an excessive muscle and articulation deterioration caused by chronic tensions from daily stress and/or bad posture. This increasing muscle tight condition so typical of contractures and muscle spasms is called muscle hyperpressure.
The investigation of the causes that produce these symptoms and their treatments are focused on this not only palliative therapy. We treat the symptoms and the condition, the cause, in order to fully eliminate the pain and to modify the causes that produce the pain itself over the time.

The intervertral discs are decompressed and the pain and the herniated disks are lower in almost all cases. This method is useful mainly for cases in which the specialist doctor contraindicates surgery for anticoagulated patients or under any type of surgical risk. As this is not a pharmacological treatment, the use of medication in allergic patients or with gastric pill intolerance has been minimally reduced. For patients having medication tolerance, the methodology MPS reinforces it.
The strategy of this digitpressure methodology is based on the spread of the tactile stimulus over the body concerned area depending on the relationship among the pain points, the muscle dystonia related to the patient’s condition, the behaviour of the channels of the central nervous system as regards the patient"s pain and mood. So we treat each individual case. These principles differentiate our method from digitpuncture, quiropraxy or massage therapy. Our methodology produces:

1 analgesia inhibiting the chemical receptors producing pain at the central and peripheral nervous system level (nociception modulation)

2 The stretching of the group of muscles together with the surrounding tissues (fascias and aponeurosis) affecting the gama motor system. This produces an increase in the blood capillarity with a positive balance of oxygen and a release of toxic metabolites like lactic acid, etc. This muscle stretching also decompresses the joints to assist the movement and allow a better nutrition of the intervertral disks or other cartilages of the treated area and joint treated.

3. Patient realizes the affected body area and the motor learning through the stimulation on acquired abilities on the muscles. Indeed, the association between the new sensorial stimulus and the muscle motor function.

4 The elimination or lowering of the severe pain together with the gain of motor function produces a better sleep and mood.
